You can download or take backup of OneDrive files to the local system easily. Just log in to the OneDrive account. Select the files for downloading. Press right-click on the files and select the Download option. This is the manual approach. You can also use the SysTools OneDrive for Business Backup Tool for effectively downloading OneDrive files.
