Firmware upgrade to 2.2.1 fails

Hi,

I am trying to update my PD test device (I think it's based on the Galaxy S3) from Tizen 2.0 to 2.2.1 (latest version from 8th Nov. 2013). The phone is in download mode and shows that a "cable is connected". But lthor fails with this message:

user@ubuntu:~/Desktop/tizen$ lthor ./tizen-2.2_20131107.3_RD-PQ-REF.tar.gz

Linux Thor downloader, version 1.4

Make sure phone(device) should be in a download mode
before connecting phone to PC with USB cable.
(How to enter download mode : press <volume-down> + <power> key)

USB port is not detected !

I am using Ubuntu 32 bit, 12.04 LTS. I also tried to restart Ubuntu and the phone but the error remains. How can I fix this?

Regards,

Hi Harald Meyer,
Please let me know, whether you have flashed System Image . i.e,
    $ lthor Tizen_RD-PQ_System_20131107_1.tar

If not installed, please first flash system file and then the Platform image

Refer below link to "Flash the Image to Reference device":

Download the System image from below link:
