The fullscreen privilege not working

When I set the fullscreen privilege in the Config.xml file, it's not working at all, the top status bar is still showing, why?

Hi,

Try adding viewmodes="fullscreen" in config.xml file.

(OR)

Go to "widget" tab and change view modes to "fullscreen"
