I would like to support the Gear S. I have an Android app that installs a Gear 2 widget (wgt), integrated type application that works fine with the Gear 2. However when I install it to the Android phone when paired with a Gear S I get a failed to install the app dialog. The error message seems to indicate a widget only app is not supported.
This app was written using the Tizen Wearable SDK. The config.xml root element is widget. If I wanted to support the Gear S would I have to write another app using the Tizen SDK instead? This seems really difficult for developers, that we would have to write an Android app, Android Wear app, Tizen Wearable app, and Tizen app...
