Performance Issues

I got a ref. device, PQ, which I have updated to 2.0 and installed the WebGL driver. However, reaction to touch events, rendering, loading time etc. are extremly slow. Is this a known case? Any performance bugs/optimization plans announced for next releses?

The PQ device is quite faster and responsive when compared to the 210 device. And haven't heard issues reported for PQ device. I use PQ device (build PQ_20130218.1738) and works great. Assuming you might have downloaded the images from one of the release mentioned under (for RD-PQ), http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.0/

It sounds like you need to install the graphics driver. After flashing a Tizen PQ device there is a separate graphics driver that you must load. I'll post the link to it here.

If installing these drivers doesn't help then let me know. I've seen quite a few of these phones and they're quite speedy.
Hey folks, as I mentioned I have installed the graphic driver too. Even core apps such as browser, calendar etc. need a bit time to appear. I can't observe a fluid user experience.

I recommend that you talk to your account manager or the person that gave you the device. I'm guessing that you got a defective device.
