Can't install SDK 2.3.1: keep getting 'Download cancelled'

I have tried everything I can think of but no luck.

I keep getting "Download canceled" during the install step.

Running on Ubuntu 14.04

  1. - Downloaded and ran : tizen-sdk_2.3.1_rev1_ubuntu-64.bin
  2. - Using default proxy settings.
  3. - In advanced tried both the default package server as well as specifying a local SDK location zip file (which I also downloaded). Either way gives the same result. [tizen-sdk-image-TizenSDK_2.3.1_Rev1-ubuntu64.zip]
  4. - Next screen I keep it as "Typical" with the default selected.
  5. - I agree to the license.
  6. - Final step I leave it at the default locations.
  7. - After I hit "Install" about 2 seconds later it comes back with "Download canceled".

I don't even have time to check the details it happens so fast. No reported message or anything.

I am at a loss as to what to do.

Update: A colleague of mine had an earlier version of the installer: tizen-sdk_2.3.1_ubuntu-64.bin.

Using THAT one it worked!

Something was busted in rev1.

Hi,

I would suggest you to check logs when you face the problem.

    $HOME/.installmanager/install-log

Use the installer tizen-sdk_2.3.1_ubuntu-64.bin and SDK image 2.3.1_rev; it worked.
