Connection Manager (Tizen Wearables) not recognizing Galaxy S3 (via usb)

I have been able to get the connection manager, in Tizen Wearables, to recognize the emulator, but when I plug my phone (Galaxy S3) into the computer via USB, nothing shows up in the conneciton manager.

My computer recognizes the phone (there is am autoplay and files open).
Gear Manager is intalled on the phone

My end goal is to put a stand alone app on the Gear S. If there is a way to do this without the phone, I will gladly do it.

I tried plugging my Gear S via USB, but there were no changes in the Connection Manager. I changed settings on my watch to "Allow USB Debugging".

At this point, I believe it is a problem with Tizen IDE for Wearable.

Hi

You have to connect your wearable device (running tizen of course)  to Tizen IDE, not android phone. Then you can normally run/debug your application on it (made custom watchface and some game as standalone application, on my gear 2 neo).

Thank you for your reply Pawet. I connected my Gear S (smart watch running tizen) and nothing showed up in the connection explorer of Tizen IDE for Wearables.

Solved:

To fix:

1. Make sure your Gear S is fully updated. This required downloading and using Kies 3 from Samsung (my watch went into emergeny firmware update, came through it alive and well)
2. Use a Official Samsung USB cord
3. Restart your computer multiple times. Restart your watch multiple times.

4. Make sure the drivers for the watch are up to date. The only drivers I could find were Samsung Galazy phone USB drivers, but my Windows found more upon restarting.
