Gear 2 Neo not listed in sdb devices

If anyone can help me please. I'm trying to connect my Gear 2 Neo to my PC (Windows 7). It shows up in the device manager under portable as Gear 2 Neo (B01B), but running sdb devices does not list the device whatsoever. The sdb executable is from the 2.3.1 wearables IDE so that could be the reason. But I was hoping I wouldn't have to use an earlier version of SDB. I'm not even sure where to get it.

Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

Hi,

I would suggest you to check whether a debugging mode of Gear 2 is enabled or not. as Gear S is detectable in Tizen SDK 2.3.1, I think that you can use Gear 2 in the same SDK as well.

Many thanks for your fast reply. I've also checked with the Gear S, and while both Gear 2 Neo and Gear S show up properly in my device manager under windows 7, they are not detected by sdb devices - the list comes up empty. 

I should have mentioned in my first post, but indeed debugging mode is turned on on both of my devices. 

So I'm not sure what could be wrong. I'm moving over from Android, and there I remember sometimes installing the latest google drivers helped, but I couldn't find anything related to Samsung drivers. I assume since both devices are correctly detected by my OS that they should be seen by sdb..
