Problem Installing the SDK

Hi,

I am not able to install the SDK.

Here is the error:

------------------------------------------------------

Cannot Start Tizen Install Manager.

Cannot find Repository. Please check your Repository

------------------------------------------------------

I even changed the repository to

http://download.tizen.org/sdk/packages/official/

and

http://download.tizen.org/sdk/packages/official/pkg_list_macos-64

(Only text appears when the page is opened.)

Still, the same error occurs.

Thanks.

Dante Santiago

Please try downloading the sdk image from https://developer.tizen.org/downloads/tizen-sdk. Click on advanced button from install manager and browse to select the downloaded image. Regards, Raghu Kona

Hi Raghu and Sanjana, Thanks for your reply. I have actually tried installing from both Direct and CDN but, the window will disappear after sometime. I had to go to C:\Users\dantesax\AppData\Local\Temp\tizensdk_20130802101640 to run the InstManager.exe. This will show me what I have explained above (... Cannot Find Repository...). Now, I pressed the 'Advanced' button but, I do not know which SDK image to get. There is non in the tizensdk_20130802101640 directory. Where do I get the SDK image? Thanks. Dante

Hi Raghu and Sanjana, I used another PC and I saw that when installing, the tizen-sdk-image-2.2.0-windows64.zip can be downloaded. I wonder why in my laptop, tizen-sdk-windows64-v2.2.32.exe is downloaded and not the SDK image above. Thanks. Dante

Are you running the exe as an Admin. Please run the executable as administrator, you can download the SDK image from http://download.tizen.org/sdk/sdk-images/2.2/tizen-sdk-image-2.2.0-windows64.zip Save it to your local disk and select it using the advanced button from install manager. Hope this will resolve your issue. Regards, Raghu Kona
