Running Tizen emulator on AMD CPU.

Hi, everyone!

Recently I've installed Tizen SDK and started practicing in Tizen software development. But a little later I found that the emulator, unfortunately, is unable to start on my laptop because of AMD CPU.

I know, official requirements says that Intel CPU is preferred and had no word about AMD CPU. OK, here is a hypothetical question: is there is a way to run Tizen emulator on AMD CPU?

I've been working a lot with Android and Windows Phone on my laptop and their emulators work just fine.

If there's a way to deal with my problem - would be nice to know how. Tizen is an ambitious project but things that it is not suitable to work on AMD makes me sad.

I'm using Windows 10, my CPU is AMD A10-4600M, virtualization enabled.

The emulator works on AMD CPU I have also an AMD CPU (A6-3400M) and the emulator runs, the only different is that HAXM doesnt work on AMD, so the emulator runs slower than on the Intel CPU

But each time I'm trying to launch the emulator its fails to start due to "Acceleration not found". Have you done additional actions after SDK install (installing any kind of supporting soft or configuring the emulator) or it was working out of the box?

Dear Bohdan Shtepan,

As Marco's comment,

you can use use the emulator on AMD without HAXM.

But I recommend that you use the linux OS  if you use the AMD cpu.

That's because it is too slow if you do not use the HAXM.

Thanks
