Tizen 2.3 for RD-PQ device

Hello,

I am trying to update my RD-PQ device from the 2.2.1 to the 2.3 version, but I read a that there is a problem with the wirless connection feature.

So any clarification about this issue? is there any tuto that I can follow to update my device using windows OS?

No clarification about this issue, somebody can use and somebody not. I flashed several times 2.3 always I cant connect to wireless.

And now... you cant flashed by Windows. Use are virtual machine with Linux, Linux Live-DVD or are separate partition with Linux to flash your device.

But I will wait, it seems a firmware with 2.3.1 coming soon.

Not sure and not tested yet... but could this 2.3.1 for RD-PQ?

Only short looked into

tizen-2.3.1-mobile_20150921.1_mobile_target.ks

And here I read RD-PQ as text string...

The mobile firmwares are useable for ALL mobile REFERENCE DEVICES (developer devices) ;)

I have flashed for two weeks, but it has the exactly the same problems like 2.3

I've read recently the the Tizen 2.3.1 firmware is releasead (here is the link: http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.3.1/2.3.1-mobile/common/) so Any clarification about this topic? Thank you

I want to know if it is the newest firmware? (you mentioned that it seems a firmware with 2.3.1 coming soon)? and where could I found the image that I need to update my RD-PQ device? by the way, does anyone tested it?

1. Yes it is the newest firmware (2.3.1)

2. You can use the MOBILE -> common -> target firmware (boot and target)

3. I test it, runs ... but wireless on RD-PQ doesnt work and the same bugs like 2.3 integrated

Is it possible to downgrade from 2.3.1/2.3 back to 2.2 Firmware?

 

Someone tried?

Yes, it's possible to downgrade from 2.3.1/2.3 back to 2.2 Firmware, I tried it before and it worked. Unfortunately I lost the link :( ..... I am sorry
