Tizen studio 1.2 does not work with the text "Checking for updates".

Hi.

 

I installed tizen studio after remove old tizen sdk.

but, tizen studio does not work. It show "Checking for updates" text.

 

I relaunch tizen studio but, it is not fixed.

If I reboot my notebook, It is fixed. but issue is reproduced many times.

 

How can I fix the issue?

 

OS : windows 10 64bit

PC : NT900X3K-K78L (samsung notebook)

You follow my previous answer...

As per my knowledge, Tizen Studio will not be updated automatically untill you clicked on update popup notification. So solution is simple don't click on that update notification.

Besides: From Tizen Studio go to Tools > Package Manager > Configuration > Toogle off the Auto Update option

I cannot select the opiton because the option black out....

May be ! Uninstall it with a good uninstaller tool. Delete registry and cache using the tool.

Hello.

I have also same issue, I cannot update anything even if I did the solution.

I couldnt also use emulator, the error is - "Emulator Manager is not installed or the installation path is invalid"

Pakcage Manager doesnt work well - connect to the repository...from Tizen studio but can access from browser.

could you let me know  how to solve ?

From Tizen Studio go to Tools > Package Manager > Configuration 

see the Package Repository URL and let us know. Also check Proxy Settings from there.

proxy is correct setting...  I'm using it other environment and no problem...

You can try to update by Help>About Tizen Studio>Installation Details>Update. 

If that also doesn't work, then reinstall would be the best solution! ( Uninstall > Clear Registry > Install again after new download)

I did some times - but it was "No updates were found"

and

already, I try - reinstall package but it didnt improve the situation...

Hello.

Thank you for your kind follow up.

I find that there are something complex PROXY configuration in our office and I cannot solve this issue even if some time did re installe process.

But its easy to setup in my home environment and I will do develope application.

It was so much bad or worst environment to dev in our office....there is no idea because we are in sales office in tech company...

Anyway, thank you for your help.

Yes, but our proxy is some complex configuration - it cannot work well on tizen dev environment....I tried some ways but not solved...

Indeed, Other enviornment is no problme, so I dont have any idea in our office to use the tizen dev environment.....
