push notifications

Hi,

I'm new to Tizen and working on a web app. I'm wondering if I can do the equivalent of a push notification using the Notification API. What I'd like is the ability to push a notification to the user even when the app is not running. I'm doing an RSS feed application and it would be nice to notify user when a new article has been published.

As of now I can see push notification support for native programming. I will get back if I find any information regarding support for web application development.
