Tizen Email Feature

Hello,

I've some trouble to configure email account setting in Tizen Emulator and also have some questions how to get the default email address configured in the device.

I was trying to add account in my emulator:

I launched the "Email" app, and it asked me to add email account, so I inputed my email address, name, and password, but when I click "next" button, it shows a message "validating account info" and ended up with an error "Add account failed"... I tried this for about an hour but not a single success. Network connection was okay as I launched the internet app and tried to connect to email service websites and it connected without an error.

I think this is an emulater bug, and my question is "how can I get the default email address configured in the device." I looked at the developer guide and saw how to send emails using Messaging API, but I could find nowhere to get configured email address in the device...

Can you please help?

Thanks in advance.

Christian.

Hi Christian Soe, Yes you are right, there is abug regarding email account issue in Emulator Bug Id for Reference: https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TDIST-131 There is no method exposed to get the configured account on device. But, the Tizen email native application is using some libraries to get the email account details For more information look in to email source code http://download.tizen.org/releases/latest/2.0/repos/main/source/apps.Email-1.0.0-1.3.src.rpm EmailSettingsProvider::InitializeAccounts
