 Monday maybe the last certification day and not Sunday. The certification is happening in east (maybe India or Korea) while the challenge is running under USA law and timezone (Linux Foundation) due to time difference

That will be nice if there's a time window for apps that didn't obtained certification for some issue before dead line. I'm waiting for the validation too, and now is impossible to submit an updated and improvement version of my app. That's why I was wondering if it's better that you can submit your app untill Dec 8th regardless of whether the certification was obtained or not.

Since it is difficult to estimate a time frame to obtain the certification because anything can happen like some app issues, so probably you will need until the last day, The problem is that you need to subtract the certification time from the total time of the contest and the number of those days varies from one to another, it would have been better if the rules were that the maximum date to submit is December 8th, maybe one week to obtain the certification for the remaining apps that didn't obtained it before, and then the time needed for the judges. I think that way it would have been better.

Would like an offical answer on things.  "Maybe" is not helpful to everybody.  I guess alot of people just don't want to waste their weekend waiting for no response as well.

 So no validation response means entry is just invalid?  So nothing could be done.

QUES: someone know if the validation process of failure response, or resubmission correction update goes pass the deadline this weekend, does that mean your entry becomes invalid?? or will there be a courtesy time window to do revalidation when deadline passes??

If your app already submitted than the latest successful certificated application will use for the judge... If you update you application after 8th december your updated version will not uses for the judge.

QUES: so I read there's no validation response on entries during the weekend?? so why the weekend Sunday deadline?? asking because I was planning my weekend to respond on validation issues here so can fix something before deadline of Sun. night.

The certification paused on the weekend... Because they can it :) Why they extend the deadline without a clear reason? :) PS: Contest end as nothing to do with the certification process.. It allows only that you can enter your application on the contest form until that... So some people have no time to do that during the week and they have only the weekend to do that :)

QUES: please clarify if resubmission courtesy time window will be extended for entries with validation issues and submitted like during Fri or Thurs.

I don't hope so... I hate it that the extend the original deadline from november to december without a reason... So I hope all late submitters application will fail for incomplete submission of the contest... If you application already submitted before 8.12. on the contest form so you have no problems if you start to update your application today...

QUES: anything or well known issues for people submitting officially into contest after successfull validation?  Like another time-waiting process or web UI entry form issue of some text description? Thanks.

thanks anyway.  i thought i am asking something alot of people are at this stage is thinking about, am i not right on this?  Simple yes or no can just resolve it and people can move on lol.
