Hi,

Samsung Tizen kiosk products use TV profile.

You can use the smart TV forum of the Samsung Developers site.

The Kiosk feature in Tizen is designed to cater to specific use cases where a dedicated, locked-down environment is required. The Kiosk feature is available in the Tizen wearable and Tizen TV profiles.

If you do not see your device there, please open the Device Manager in the Tizen Studio and connect to your TV.

When developing for a kiosk using Tizen, it is important to determine the appropriate Tizen Profile for the device. Kiosk devices generally fall under the Tizen TV Profile because kiosks often use large displays similar to those in TVs for interaction with users.

The Tizen TV Profile is designed to support larger screens and high-resolution displays, making it suitable for kiosk applications. Moreover, it includes various features tailored for media-rich environments, remote control, and user interaction via touchscreens or external input devices, which are common in kiosk systems.

In contrast, the Tizen Mobile Profile is typically aimed at smartphones and smaller handheld devices, which might not be the best fit for a kiosk, unless the kiosk is based on a mobile device or tablet interface.
