Currently, there are two ways to earn the VMware Certified Master Specialist - HCI 2023 certification:
- Path One: Hold a VCP-DCV 2021 or newer
- Step 1: Possess a VMware Certified Professional - Data Center virtualization 2021 or newer certification.
- Step 2: Have a VMware Certified Specialist - vSAN 2021 or newer badge.
- Step 3: Attend one of the required training sessions.
- Step 4: Pass the 5V0-21.21 VMware HCI Master Specialist Exam.
- Path Two: Hold a Master Specialist - HCI 2020 or newer badge
- Pass the 5V0-21.21 VMware HCI Master Specialist exam or attend one of the training courses in 2023.
