Error when launching 'annex' sample in emulator

After downloading,  importing, and building the 'annex' sample web application I get the following error message when launching it in the emulator: An internal error occurred during: "Launching Annex". URI is not absolute Could you please advise on how to solve this problem so I can run the application in the Tizen emulator? Thank you.

Error when launching 'annex' sample in emulator I am able to launch 'annex' sample web application without any problem. Are you able to launch any other Web application or not? Hi Vandersteene, Do one thing. First open Tizen IDE and follow the below step: 1.Go to File-->New-->Tizen Web Project-->Sample-->Annex( select only) 2.Give Project name for Annex and click on 'finish' button. 3.Run your new Annex project as Tizen web application(emulator). Thank you for your help. I followed the steps you indicated but there are no sample apps in the 'Sample' tab of File-->New-->Tizen Web Project-->Sample. When I start the Tizen SDK Install Manager it shows that web samples are installed but I can't find them in the installation folder.

Hi Vandersteene, Launch 'eclipse' through 'ide' folder and follow below mentioned steps. 1.Go to File-->New-->Tizen Web Project-->Sample-->Tizen-->Web app-->Annex( select only) 2.Give Project name for Annex app and click on 'finish' button. 3.Run your new Annex project as Tizen web application(emulator). Annex is present when when we select Sample-->Web app Please try it. Regards, Vineet Tiwari

I followed the steps you outlined exactly but there are no sample projects in the 'Sample' view of the 'New Tizen Web Project' wizard. Maybe something went wrong during installation although I did not get an error message at that time (I installed from the web not from the image file). As I mentioned before I cannot find the sample web apps in the installation folder and I guess that's why no samples are displayed from which I can select the 'Annex' project.

Thank you for your reply. I have first uninstalled the Tizen SDk and then made a new install from the Package Server (I can't install from the SDK image because the download of the zip file is always invalid or corrupt even though the download finishes normally). I used the default 'Typical' install option and at the end the installer said 'Installation Complete'. However, as you can see from the attached section of the install log, many files could not be moved correctly and these files include the empty project template and sample apps. That is why I cannot select the 'Annex' sample from the new project wizard as you suggested. My system is Windows XP SP3 Professional (32-bit) and I have no problems developing Bada or Android apps. So the problems I am experiencing with Tizen are due to the Tizen SDK installer. Please note that I had to add 'c:\windows\system32' to my Path system variable to solve another Tizen SDK installer problem that caused the installer to fail on the installation of the Web App IDE. Thank you for your reply. I have downloaded the SDK image file for Windows XP 32-bit many times over a period of many days. Each time the download completed normally without any error messages but the downloaded zip file could not be opened ('corrupt or invalid archive' message) and the SDK Install Manager gave an error message when trying to use the file to do the install. Do you have information that the download of the SDK image file for Windows XP 32-bit can now be succefully completed resulting in a valid archive that can be used to install the SDK?
