Installed SDK but can't find Wearable project templates

Hi I am attempting to following the steps on the following page, however the wearable project template shown does not show up in my SDK. I have tried installing twice, and installed all available packages and extensions. I am on Mac OS X.

How to I install the SDK so that I can follow these steps?

What is the version that you installed?

If you installed the Tizen 2.4 SDK now, you can not use the wearable project.

 

That's because the Tizen 2.4 SDK was released as mobile only version. (Tizen 2.4 SDK for Mobile)

If you want to develop the wearable app now, please use the Tizen 2.3.1 SDK.

Hello,

It depends on SDK version. As Seoghyun Kang said, Tizen 2.4 SDK is for Mobile only and it doesn't support Wearable projects now. 

To develop applications for wearables, you need to install Tizen 2.3.1 SDK.

Thank you very much Kang and Palitsyna! I began to suspect that was the case. I installed 23.1 and I do see the wearable profile. I guess what confused me was Samsung's page shows "wearable 2.4" profiles, so I thought they should exist.

Hmm you got further than me Jerry.

I installed SDK2.3.1 on OSX, then the wearable extension has been added via package manager.

I open the SDK and see no Tizen project options under File->New->Project

Tried to change perspective per point#1 at:

  https://developer.tizen.org/development/getting-started/web-application/application-development-process/creating-application-project

...but there are no Tizen specific perspectives there.

What else have I missed?
