After installing Tizen .NET Preview 2 Tizen emulator has stopped working

When Tizen .NET Preview 2 is installed, attempt to run Tizen emulator in Visual Studio Community 2015

results in the error message "Tizen Emulator seems to be not installed. Do you want to move to download page?".

Clicking Yes at this message box opens Web page where only the same Preview 2 archive just installed is located.

Is it such a joke? Where to find that Emulator manager announced here at the site as a new feature of the Preview 2?

To clarify the situation more - before the problem occurred Tizen .NET Preview was installed in that development system (Windows 8.1 Enterprise, 64 bits),

and Tizen emulator was working there. The Preview 2 was installed over the previous version.

Did the emulator with Preview 1 work fine?

 

You could perhaps try completely uninstalling the preview and then reinstalling. To do this:

1. In Visual Studio 2015, Tools > Extensions and Updates. In the box in the upper right corner, search for Tizen. Two results should show up: debugger and Visual Studio tools for tizen - Uninstall both and close Visual Studio.

2. In the control panel go to the section for uninstalling a program / list of programs. Search for Tizen there and then uninstall the preview.

3. Reinstall preview 2.
