Russian or Chinese market?
 

Native UI builder is very nice. Now I don't need to write tens of lines of code to design the UI.

Sadly, the emulator still has no basic apps like file explorer, camera and browser..

 

Creating UI is confusing with 3 different methods, code, EDC and UI builder.

For example, I could not figure out how to create side expandable menu with UI builder similar to email sample app. Also, there are confusing properties in UI builder.

There are stuff in EDC i could not figure out in code and stuff in code I couldn't figure out in UI builder

Most of tutorials UI are created with code, while I think EDC or UI builder is preferable methods

Great news! I'm happy you managed to fix the file permissions issue. Submitting apps to the Store will now be much smoother :)

But, my Tizen IDE 2.3.0 Rev2 says "No updates were found" when I go to main menu / Help / Check for Updates.  Is it normal?  When will you roll the update to the auto-update server?  I hope I don't have to reinstall the whole IDE just to apply a small patch ;)

That doesn't sound good :(  Shall I just go ahead and install 2.3.0 Rev3 over an existing 2.3.0 Rev2 installation, to sort of overwrite the old files?  Or do I have to do a clean install by first uninstalling the existing SDK?

Hi Tamas,

In my experience, it's better to clean up old tizen-sdk-data and tizen-sdk folder before you install new one.

So I would suggest you to do the same and keystore folder should be backup as you know.

I uninstalled old and installing Rev3 with SDK image now.

Thank you.  It is a shame that the automatic update doesn't work.  Let's hope it will in the next update :)
