Category option in manifest
Hi, In 2.2.1 SDK there was an option to select the application category in the manifest xml as homeapp, ime or lockapp. Currently i am using 2.3.0_Rev2 SDK, but this option is not available now. I am trying to develop a custom launcher application for which this option is required. Please let me know if it is completely removed or will be available in upcoming releases? Also please let me know how to develop a custom launcher app (home screen alternative) without this option. regards Sriram.

Hi,
As I know IME apps are not supported now, but  IME apps are planned to support in futher releases (was mention in release notes also):

But I don't know about plans to support homeapp and lockscreen app's development in future.
