Image created by MIC can be availabe to Tizen emulator on Tizen studio ?

Hello, members.

I build the tizen OS image with MIC tool and evaluate the behavior, to make apps for the ( customized) OS.

So, I want to know the Tizen studio (emulator) can boot the image or not ?

Or do you know any informtaion, method to boot customized image ?

hi  Shigenori Shimizu, as per my understanding it will not be possible with Tizen Studio! You may follow this https://source.tizen.org/documentation/reference/flash-device

Anybody can point at *usable* documentation telling about custom image creation for latest versions of Emulator Manage?

 

Would you please to be more specific on below questions?

1. How to build custom mobile images to be able to emulate them under Tizen Studio emulator?

2. Should developers use MIC for this?

3. Assuming we need MIC the the question is: When MIC prepares tar.gz file with built-in img files what should developers do with tar.gz to run it in emulator?

4. Does anyone know how to edit KS file for MIC to generate usable images?

5. What are requirements for generating correct emulator images?

 

I’m asking because I can’t find proper information in manuals published on this site. Also older WIKI pages and older forum threads look misleading to me.

 

Does this forum have official support?
