[SamsungTV] Can't run app in emulator

I'm having problems running any app in the Tizen Studio emulator (Samsung TV 4.0). When I click on "run as > Tizen TV Application", the execution stops with an error. The following image shows the error for the default Samsung TV project:

This issue seems to be caused by the distributor certificate, as it only happens when my active certificate has one or more DUIDs on it. When I run the application with an active certificate without DUIDs, it starts correctly on the emulator.

¿Any solution for this problem? I need to have the app signed with DUIDs as I need to test it with real devices.

I was Struggling with the Issue a while.....Wasn't even able to deploy tizen-4.0 apps on Emulators.

The Solution was: Creating a 'Tizen Certificate' (I mean Without DUIDs). After that I was able to deploy on Emulators. But as there was no real device running on Tizen 4.0, only Emulators, the solution worked for me. (You already know and mentioned this solution)

For the case of , Tizen 4.0 real devices ..It's a DEAD END...No way to deploy.

Definitely an IDE Bug...You may report a bug on Tizen bug Tracker. Here's a guideline on how to report bugs. Please share your progress and the 'Reported bug' link here on this post to help the developers keep track.

UPDATE: While the core issue seems indeed to be caused by a bug with Tizen Studio and hasn't been resolved, I was able to deploy the application to a Tizen 4.0 real device without signing it, just leaving the Tizen Public certificate (without DUIDs) as the active one.

Thanks for sharing.

That's the Solution worked for my Emulators. Seems It's also a workaround for real devices.

After Clicking Home, Press the left button to select 'More Options' icon. You'll find 'Apps' menu there.

You're welcome,

A TV device is not touch-controlled like mobile or smartwatch, rather all input is given by remote. So TV emulator is designed with same concept, you have to use the remote buttons for navigation and selection.
