Tizen Studio (3.7) does not want to launch.

The studio cannot be launched. I re-installed java to version 8, set JAVA_HOME to the JDK, but the Studio app won't launch. It does not even give any error message. I can run Package Manager and Emulator Manager, but no other.

Hello Petr,

Tizen Studio 3.7 does not depend on java installed in the system or any java related environment variables, rather it bundles the java along with itself.

Coming to Studio not launching, can you please tell which platform are you working on and which version of Mac/Windows/Ubuntu? Also please let us know if there are tools than Studio IDE that you are facing issues with.

Could you please :
- check if you are able to launch the certificate-manager?
- check the contents of eclipse.ini file present in 
    mac:  ~/tizen-studio/TizenStudio.app/Contents/Eclipse
    windows and ubuntu: ~/tizen-studio/ide
     '-vm' value is used to run the tools(certificate-manager and Studio)
     Could you please check if it is properly set? 
  (for Mac ,  expected value: 
  Certificate-manager: ~/tizen-studio/tools/certificate-manager/Certificate-manager.app/Contents/MacOS/../../../../../jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java 
  Tizen- Studio : ~/tizen-studio/TizenStudio.app/Contents/Eclipse/../../../jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java)
 
  And if possible could you post the contents of the .ini file or alternatively send it to vikash.minz@samsung.com
