2.4 Mobile - Native app perspective not available on Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit

Hello,

I have installed the Mobile 2.4 packages and the Tizen SDK tools via the update manager (version 0.2.21)  without any errors reported.

However, within the Tizen IDE ( Version : 2.4.0 Rev3 Build id : 20151223-1451) I cannot open the native perspective.

I only see a toolbar button "Tizen native" that doesn't perform anything.

Menu:

  • File -> New -> No Applicable Items
  • Window -> Open Perspective -> Other -> only Tizen Web (default)

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit

Installed Packages:

  • 2.4 Mobile
    • Emulator
    • Native app development (ide)
    • Web app development (ide)
  • 2.3.1 Mobile
    • Native app development (ide)
  • Tizen SDK Tools
    • Emulator manager
    • Native CLI
    • Native IDE
    • Native Toolchain
      • Gcc 4.6 toolchain
      • Gcc 4.9 toolchain

Hi,

I would suggest you to remove this one in update manager and try to install it again.

    Native app development (ide)

Daniel, thanks a lot for your reply.

I haven't tested everything, but the native perspective is available now.

Steps I have performed:
(1) uninstallation of the Tizen SDK via the new 2.4 Uninstaller
(2) download and installation of tizen-web-ide_TizenSDK_2.4.0_Rev3_windows-64.exe
(3) restart of my computer
(4) installation of the 2.4 Mobile packages via the Update manager

Conclusion:

Updating an older revision of the 2.4 SDK via the update manager doesn't work for the native tools on Windows 10, at least not on my computer.

Hi.

Could your reinstall NativeIDE?

I guess that NativeIDE package installed incorrectly.

Thanks.

Jongwoo, thanks a lot for your reply.

I have done the re-installation, it works now.

Hi,
Yes, looks like better to reinstall packages related to Native, as it has been proposed above.
Alexey.
