Error after creating empty project (or opening any project)

Hello,

I try install Tizen Studio on Windows 10 x64 and Ubuntu 10.04 and on both systems I have same issue...

When I create project, I got this message

An internal error occurred during: "Compute launch button tooltip".
org.eclipse.core.internal.resources.File cannot be cast to org.eclipse.core.resources.IProject

I already tried many of solutions i have found over the internet (adding some line to eclipse.ini, remove .metadata, etc.), but nothing helped me.

Can anyone help me? Sorry for my bad english ;)
Thank you in advance! :)

Thats wierd... I found out that this is happenes only if I have just one project for smartwatches in IDE. When I add project for mobile phone, it works great on Ubuntu 10.04 :)

HI~,

Please check minimum requirements for Tizen Studio. For example, check out this link,

https://developer.tizen.org/development/tizen-studio/download/installing-tizen-studio/prerequisites

it says ( in "Table: OS and system requirements" ) in case of Ubuntu you need 14.04/12.04.

Also check "Java Development Kit (JDK) Requirements".

And https://developer.tizen.org/ko/development/tizen-studio/download/installing-tizen-studio/hardware-accelerated-execution-manager?langredirect=1

for activating Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager.

Hope it will work.

Thank you for your post :)

Firstly, I have this version of Ubuntu: Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS. Sorry, I just overlooked. But the same problem I have on Windows x64. I have JDK installed on both systems. On ubuntu, I install everythink what Tizen Studio installer ask me to install. I have HAXM on windows and its working (emulators using AVD using it). I really do not think that is caused by prerequisites, because I have excatly same error on both operating systems.

As I wrote previously, this error disappeared when I add mobile app to project. If I have watch app in Tizen studio alone, I got error message which I described in first post. If I add mobile app to this project, everythink works great and I can build and run my mobile and watch application. This behaviour applies on both systems (Ubuntu and Windows).

So, my problem is resolved, but that "bug" is still there. I was just surprised, that this is happening on a clean installation and both systems :)
