Can't test on real device

1.If I right click on the project name in the IDE and then click on "run as"...."Tizen Web Application", Iget a message "Please select target (emulator or device) for launching app". However, I see no way for making this selection.

 

2.If I right click in the project name, and click "run as"..."Run Configurations"..."Tizen Web App"..."New Configuration"..."Widget"..."Run".  It launches, but then I get the following message----"Launching New Configuration has encountered a problem. Initializing the environment for running the widget failed. Details --->

Return code 1005. Can't find the device. Cannot connect to target. Please start emulator in Connection Explorer or check connected real device on your PC.

I do have the Samsung device connected and turned on and developer debug mode turned on. What is missing here?

Can you check, if your device is listed using the below command, sdb devices You should be seeing something like below message, when your device is detected. List of devices attached 4df1fff85c7b9f00 device device-0 If not, then your device is not detected and the drivers need to be installed or updated. Try the below SS USB drivers and check again. http://down2.local.sec.samsung.com/uploadimg2/comLocal/service/support/consumer/download/SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.zip
